These terms apply when you use musitool.com. By using the site you agree to them. They are short because the tools are free and keep nothing of yours.

Using the tools

The tools are free for personal, teaching and professional use. You do not need an account. Please do not try to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, or copy it wholesale to present as your own.

Accuracy

The tools are measured carefully (see how accuracy is measured), but no tuner hears every instrument, voice, microphone and room perfectly. Readings are a guide, provided as is, without any warranty that they are correct or that the site will always be available.

Your hearing

Some tools can play reference tones. Start with your volume low, especially with headphones, and turn it up gradually.

Privacy

Your microphone audio never leaves your device. The privacy policy sets out the little the site does store.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, musitool is not liable for any loss that comes from using, or being unable to use, the tools. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law where you live that cannot be limited.

Content and names

The site's text, design and code belong to musitool, except the fonts and other parts published under their own open licences.
